Our Visit to the SPCA

Our Visit to the SPCA
Yesterday we missed a ton of class, but it was for a good reason! We had gone to the SPCA with SAC (Stop Animal Cruelty) who were coming with us because we are both researching the same thing. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We interviewed one of their people named Ujwala who had actually only been there for two months. We found out that they treat their animals well and they wash them on a regular basis. Even though sometimes nobody wants to adopt some of the SPCA's animals they still keep them. The SPCA's longest resident is a dog who's been there for eight months! They gave us an inside look at their dogs and cats. Some of our group members were nervous around the aggressive dogs that kept barking. We got to pet their cats and even learn their names. My favorite cat was Felix, he was a black cat. Anyway that was our trip to the SPCA. It was really fun!

  1. I think that it was really interesting for you to go and learn about animal cruelty because it is important to know about what you could do about it and what other people do about it.
